Have I mentioned that I love hot yoga?

I love hot yoga.  I did it tonight for the 2nd time, this time with Ryan.  We both really enjoyed it and it was great to do something different together. It's really cleansing and relaxing, and I really want to make it a routine.  I think it'll be great, not only for my physical well-being, but for my stress level and also it'll help me as I try to become more self-aware and present in my life.  The FIRST program has really opened my eyes to how everything is so connected and it's opened my mind to think about things in different ways and look at things through various lenses.  Tonight my big "aha" moment was when I noticed that my balance was wayyyy off...it's usually a strength of mine but I struggled tonight.  I realized that I've been really off balance in my life lately - feeling really stressed, having trouble sorting out my priorities, etc...and it definitely manifested itself physically tonight.  Also, I was proud of myself that I was able to observe this without being judgmental of myself - that's progress in itself. I'd like to practice yoga enough to get to a point where I can really "let it all go," look within, and be at peace.  I also hope Ryan and I can continue to enjoy the experience together.

I find it interesting that the last thing that got me motivated enough to write in this blog was when I did hot yoga. I've thought about it lots of times but tonight I wanted it enough to actually follow through.....
